She will teach techniques for appreciating all the fantastic natural wonders waiting to be discovered within our watershed. She will also walk us through an innovative journaling method that allows participants to capture natural wonders in one’s very own sketchbook! PDE Freshwater Mussel Hatchery at Bartram’s Gardens
Kathy Klein is the Executive Director of the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary and will co-present with the organization’s Development Director, Elizabeth Horsey about a new freshwater mussel hatchery being built at Bartram’s Garden in Southwest Philadelphia. The hatchery will produce thousands of mussels each year, to be seeded in local streams, ponds, and stormwater basins.
