Point Breeze on the Lower Schuylkill – Philadelphia

Point Breeze is located at the place where the Schuylkill meets the Delaware River. In the late 19th century it became an important site for major oil refineries. Both the Atlantic (now ARCO) and Sun Oil (Sunoco) Companies had major installations here. Oil storage and refining continue to operate at this location.
